Cassidy, a Freshman at Rutherford High School, has been writing songs for about 2 years.  She has written over 200 songs, including one for the Save the Williams Center rally and A Woman's Right to Choose event.  She performed at this year's Popcert at RHS, the same concert her Dad performed in 34 years earlier. She also sang and played guitar in a band formed from Rutherford Rocks through the recreation department.

She will be attending a Songwriters Workshop at NYU this summer with writers from around the country.  Her dream is to go to Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN to study creative writing and perhaps pursue a songwriting career.
